The EMAE Alumnus, Eric Diller recognized by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) for his exceptional achievements
CWRU, Mechanical Engineering, 2010 graduate, Eric Diller received the 2021 Ontario Professional Engineers Awards (OPEA) Engineering Medal in Young Engineer Category. The award is given to young Ontario engineers, who have made exceptional achievements in their chosen fields (candidates are less than 35 years of age and demonstrated excellence, not only in their career, but also in their community and professional participation.)
While at Case, Eric was advised by Prof. Roger Quinn. Eric's M.S. thesis was titled: Design of a Biologically-Inspired Climbing Hexapod Robot for Complex Maneuvers.
Currently, he is an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering at University of Toronto. The award ceremony will be held virtually on Saturday, November 20, 2021.
