Ceramics and glasses for electronic, chemical, and biomedical applications, including thin films, gas sensors, fuel cell materials, and apatite coatings on titanium implants; synthesis, processing, defect chemistry, microstructure, and phase equilibria. Materials for alternative energy technologies and sustainability.
